Scope Of A DOEACC Course?

O level course of DOEACC Scheme is equivalent to a Foundation Level Course in Computer Applications. Students can acquire this qualification by undergoing this course and passing the examination conducted by the DOEACC Society.
DOEACC Society (currently renamed to NIELIT) is an autonomous body under the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. They offer various courses related to IT.
Doeacc Society was established in the year 1989. Doeacc Society is under the administrative control of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India. Doeacc O LEVEL & A LEVEL Society looks after the training, Consultancy, Design and Product Development needs of small scale IT Industries and allied sectors. The Society also conducts training programmes for promotion of Entrepreneurs. 






O Level is the first level course they offer, followed by A, B & C Levels. It certifies candidates for basic Computer Proficiency. To  Doeacc O Level certified, you have to enroll in one of their centers, complete the coursework classes and pass the scheduled set of exams. The teachers at NIELIT openly encourage their students to develop industry related skills and also guide them accordingly. NIELIT is the only government institute that provides such a course at the lowest fees for ST and SC candidates.The main reason behind choosing a government institute is the budget that we would be spending. Hence, if you belong to ST or SC candidates then admission fees are waived.
What is the scope of a DOEACC course?
The course curriculum and syllabus is kind of mixture of technology and management which you do not find anywhere. I would still recommend you this course if you are not planning or thinking to go for any full time regular university based course. One extra benefit of this course is that it is certified by Department of Electronics, this is the authority which gives accreditation to other universities or institutions. So its a go from my point of view.


In terms of job, you may find difficulty at start but the knowledge and confidence you get from this course is undoubtedly the best. Many govt examinations require these certificates and They have a bit of special requirement that says only these courses are required . You can join in private companies as computer operator. Try in some CA or consultants or any small institutes you can teach or you can work there. You can also teach C language and C++ institute.
