What Is Doeacc And Scope of Doeacc course?
DOEACC 'A' Level
Course is the second level of DOEACC IT
ProfessionalCourse.It comes after 'O' Level. It is
equivalent to advance diploma course in Computer Application
as recognized by Govt. of India for Job purposes. Duration of
the course is 1½ Year for direct entry and 1 Year for 'O' level qualifiers.
DOEACC is an exclusive creation of All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE). It works under the Department of Information Technology,
Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India.
Accreditation has been granted to various computer training
institutes/organisations in the non-formal sector for conducting specified
levels of courses, subject to adherence to well-defined norms and criteria.
These courses are:
‘O' (Foundation Level), ‘A' (Advanced Diploma), ‘B' (MCA Equivalent) and ‘C'
(M.Tech Level in Computer Science and Engineering). The syllabi and
examinations for the courses have been designed by an expert panel drawn from
academia, industry and the government.

It is a foundation (Junior Programmer) level course, and it provides general insights about the operational and programming aspects of Computers. This course has been designed for students who are new in this industry.

The DOEACC `A' level is
a full time course and the duration of this program is one year. Every day one
needs to give 5 to 6 hours, and it is for the students who have already
graduated or have `O' level qualification.

DOEACC
is an autonomous body of Ministry of Communication and Information
Technology,GOI. The Department of Electronics is operating a scheme called
DOEACC which provides 4 levels of courses. 'A' Level is the Advanced diploma
level which gives proof of a candidate's skill as a programmer. The level 'B'
is the graduate level and certifies for proficiency as a systems
analyst/software designer/engineer (equivalent to MCA). The 'C' level is the
Masters level and recognises a candidate's proficiency as a systems manager
(equivalent to M.Tech)

keep yourself abreast with it and develop proficiency, so that it will be
easier for you to get a good job after you have completed your 'B' level.
After you have completed
your 'B' level you would be eligible for all Govt Jobs which require
qualifications equivalent to MCA or B.E/B.Tech in Computers.
