Advantage Of NIELIT O Level

NIELIT ‘O’ Level Course is a foundation Course of NIELIT Society in the field of Information Technology. The duration of the course is 1 Year (2 semesters of 6 months each). The next level IT course of NIELIT Society is NIELIT ‘A’ Level which is equivalent to advance diploma course in Computer Application .The course starts in the month of January and July every year. The NIELIT O' level, offered to career conscious 10+2/undergraduates, provides necessary I.T. skills required in all career streams. It is a launching pad for lucrative careers in 'O' level leads to progressively advanced courses such as 'A' and 'B' (MCA) levels. It also lays down the foundation for premier international I.T. certifications from world leaders such as Cisco, Oracle, Red Hat and Microsoft. These certifications lead to super specialization in high-demand niche fields of networking, database administration, and open source technology and software development.

Whether one desires to super specialize in I.T. or just needs basic I.T. skills for career-specific requirements, 'O' level becomes a must-do course for every student post 10+2.

To encourage excellence in academic performance, accredited centers in Noida offers several rewards in the form of ‘Cash Prizes' and ‘Certificate of Honor' on the basis of performance in the NIELIT examinations. NIELIT has introduced a Scholarship Scheme for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped students who are pursuing NIELIT's ‘O' Level course as full time students.

The scholarship amounts to Rs. 8,000/- which is given to students in two installments, provided they clear all papers in single attempts within the next two consecutive examinations after registration and the annual family income of student from all sources does not exceed rupees one lakh .In fact, since the inception of mentioned scheme, many students of  DOEACC ‘O', ‘A' and ‘B' levels have won these scholarships.

To avail this scholarship, the student has to complete an application form and send it to the NIELIT with the required documents within 45 days of the declaration of NIELIT results. For more details and application forms, the students are required to meet the Programme Executive of NCA in Noida.
